The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, June 23 reveals Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) will make his intentions clear to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
Also coming up, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will encourage Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to leave. Plus, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will flash back to a conversation she had with her ex six months ago. And everyone at the chateau will wonder how Cane amassed his fortune.
Y&R spoilers tease the guests in France will put Cane on the hot seat. Lily will say she wants answers. But Cane will tell them all he’s decided to retire the Dumas name and just be Cane from now on. “It’s truly my pleasure to be your host.”
Devon Winters (Bryton James) will tell Cane he’s a real piece of work. “This whole thing is a stupid idea.” Then he, Lily and Damian Kane (Jermaine Rivers) will leave through the maze.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Sally Tells Billy They Can Break This Huge Story
Victor will stand up and say he wants to speak to Cane privately. “There’ll be plenty of time for that later,” he’ll reply. “Now,” Victor will insist. “You follow me now.” So, Cane will of course obey. After they walk away, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will ask Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) if Cane’s coming back to Genoa City. “I need to be in on this.”
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will ask Billy how he’s doing. He’ll say he’s surprised, he didn’t recognize Cane’s voice on the phone. Maybe because he no longer has an Australian accent. Regardless, Sally will ask how he knows Cane. “This isn’t the first time he did this, the fake name,” he’ll reply. “The same thing he did when he came back as my long lost brother.”
Billy will add that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) still loves him as a son. Sally will ask why he went to all this trouble. Billy will say he thinks Cane wants Chancellor to himself. “I suspect Chancellor is just the tip of the iceberg,” Jack will reply. Suddenly, something will occur to Billy. “It’s Katherine’s will.”
Jack will say The Mustache would be happy point out she left Chancellor to him. “But she wanted Cane to run it,” Billy will reply. Jack will wonder if all of it is about Chancellor. Then Phyllis will interrupt. “Did someone mention Chancellor?” she’ll ask. Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will tell Phyllis she’s completely shameless.
Sally will pull Billy aside and suggest they leave right away. “We go home tomorrow, to Genoa City and we break this huge story,” she’ll add. “This is how we launch Abbott Communications, before anyone else beats us to it.” But Billy will say there’s more going on and they need to stay.
In their train car, Lily will say if she had any idea she wouldn’t have come there. “How in the world did Cane pull this off?” Damian will ask if he was always this wealthy and she’ll say no. Devon will tell him Cane’s dad was a con artist and a crime boss. But Lily will say Cane never wanted to be like his father.

Then she’ll talk about Maddy’s crisis and once she and Cane got her through it, they had coffee together. A flashback will show Cane telling Lily he reconnected with Colin. “He’s sick and it’s changed him.” When he asked her if Colin could see their kids, she refused. “He tried to steal Devon’s money, that’s unforgiveable.”
Lily will tell Damian and Devon she couldn’t understand why he was being so gullible about his father. “And the whole time he was building an empire as Aristotle Dumas.” Damian will suggest they leave and Devon will agree. “I can’t go,” she’ll say. “He’s coming back to Genoa City, I need to know everything he did in the last six years.”
In the garden, Cane will talk about how beautiful the chateau is. Victor will tell Cane to cut the bull and he’ll ask what he wants from his family. “This reminds me of your father Colin, he would put on a show,” he’ll add. “My father actually died, six months ago,” Cane will reply.
Victor will say he’s sorry but he’ll also ask how many people he and Colin stiffed building this so-called empire. So, Cane will tell him say his dad got sick about six years ago. They started saving money and invested in crypto.
“My hat off to you,” Victor will say. “For you to amass this enormous fortune in such a short period of time.” But he’ll say the question is why he wants him there. Cane will tell him he’s ready to give up the businesses under Dumas’ ownership. “That’s where you come in.”
Finally, Victor will ask why he’d want to trade his companies to him and he’ll ask what he wants in return. Cane will say he wants control of Chancellor. “That’s funny,” Victor will reply. “Ain’t gonna happen.”
